Mobile role covering commercial sites from Edinburgh to St Andrews.

Salary: £45,000 DOE + OT paid at 1.5x.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out installation, servicing, and PPM on split systems, multi-split systems, and VRV/VRF equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and complete reactive repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
  • Work on chillers and refrigeration equipment where required.
  • Replace components including compressors, motors, sensors, and control boards.
  • Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations, Health & Safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Complete job sheets, service reports, and compliance documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain clear records of refrigerant usage and parts replacement.
  • Liaise professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support junior engineers and work collaboratively with the wider engineering team.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent).
  • F-Gas Category 1 (2079) certification.
  • Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
  • Proven experience within commercial HVAC and refrigeration environments.
  • Experience with chillers, split systems, and VRV/VRF units.
  • Skilled in brazing and metal component repair.
  • Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently.
