£21.00 per hour, Temporary to Permanent, Based in Paisley, covering whisky distilleries from Girvan to Perth.
Travel: Paid at hourly rate from Paisley to site.
Responsibilities:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–4:30pm | Friday: 7:30am–2:00pm
- Install, maintain, overhaul, and repair mechanical equipment at customer premises.
- Work on pumps, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, and associated plant machinery.
- Carry out planned and emergency maintenance across multiple sites.
- Assemble, disassemble, test, and inspect complex rotating machinery.
- Mark out, cut, drill, mill, tap, and ream mild steel and non-ferrous metals.
- Assemble and fit components to specification.
- Complete repairs and servicing to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Support continuous improvement activities.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Time-served Mechanical Fitter or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience within food and drink processing plants.
- Strong background in rotating machinery, pumps, and gearboxes.
- Conveyor maintenance experience.
