Responsibilities
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Fabricate and weld bespoke components for a range of engineering projects.
- Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard.
- Work with sheet metal, mild steel, and stainless steel.
- Manufacture components for heavy engineering and food manufacturing equipment, including conveyor systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a workshop-based welding and fabrication role.
- Proven experience with sheet metal fabrication.
- Skilled in both MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Experience working with mild steel and stainless steel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
