Responsibilities
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (paid 40 hours per week)
- Engineers must arrive on site by 8:00am
- Carry out reactive maintenance and repair works, including:
- Emergency response tasks
- Lock changes
- Fire door inspections and repairs
- Door closers, hinges, and adjustments
- Window adjustments
- Box guttering maintenance
- Removal and replacement of faulty fire strips
- General finishing and shuttering works
- Work across a mobile patch (primarily Central Belt, with occasional work in Aberdeen, Perth, and Dundee)
- Accurately log all jobs using a PDA system
- Ensure all work is recorded with detailed notes and photographic evidence upon completion
- Operate across a variety of sites: 95% commercial and retail (including shopping centres)
