Groundworker, 16.00-18.50 per hour Day Shift, 18.00-20.50 per hour Night Shift, Dalwhinnie, Contract
Benefits
- 40 hours per week
- Paid travel time from 06:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday when travelling
- Opportunity to gain a PTS certification if not already held
- Work on a major rail infrastructure project with ongoing employment until project completion
- Training certification valid for two years
Responsibilities
- Carry out troughing work alongside rail tracks to protect critical cable routes
- Move materials, tools, and supplies safely around the worksite
- Assist with concrete pouring and associated groundwork activities
- Follow all site safety procedures and rail industry regulations
- Support the wider project team to ensure work is completed on schedule
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual duties in an outdoor environment
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards
- Ability to work day and night shifts as required
- PTS certification is desirable but not essential
- Successful completion of a PTS course after 12 rail shifts, including drug and alcohol testing and e-learning modules
