Heating Engineer

Heating Engineer, Mobile Role, Glasgow, Clydebank, West of Scotland Aspirare Recruitment are currently seeking a Heating Engineer to join a leading UK company. This Heating Engineer role offers a temp to perm package with benefits and career progression. Schedule: * Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM * Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Pay Rate: * £18.50 – £22.00 per hour * Overtime: Available at standard hourly rate Engineer’s Benefits: * Competitive hourly pay based on experience * Early finish every Friday * Overtime available at a flat hourly rate * Long-term work with consistent hours * Mobile working environment – variety of locations across the West of Scotland * Work in experienced 2-person squads, offering team support on the job * Opportunity to build specialised experience in boiler house systems and large-diameter pipework * Gain exposure to commercial mechanical systems and sites Engineer’s Responsibilities: * Work as part of a mobile 2-person squad across various commercial sites * Install and maintain commercial pipework systems, primarily in boiler houses * Handle pipework up to 150mm diameter * Ensure all work meets relevant health and safety standards * Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and site teams * Travel between sites across Glasgow, Clydebank, and the West of Scotland * Support team members in carrying tools, preparing materials, and resolving on-site challenges Engineer’s Requirements: Essential: * Proven commercial plumbing/pipefitting experience * Strong background working in boiler houses and with commercial systems * Valid CSCS card * Full UK driving licence (required for mobile role) Desirable: * IPAF certification (for working at height using powered access equipment) * PASMA certification (for assembling and using mobile scaffold towers)
