Responsibilities:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (paid 40 hours per week)
- Engineers must arrive on site by 8:00am
- Carry out reactive maintenance and repair works, including:
- Emergency response tasks
- Lock changes
- Fire door inspections and repairs
- Door closers, hinges, and adjustments
- Window adjustments
- Box guttering maintenance
- Removal and replacement of faulty fire strips
- General finishing and shuttering works
- 95% commercial and retail (including shopping centres)
- 5% student accommodation, social housing, and domestic properties
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (licence check required)
- Time-served engineer
- Reliable and capable of working independently
- Own tools required
- Strong attention to detail for accurate reporting and documentation
