We are currently recruiting an experienced Steel Fitter to join a major commercial project in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of steel staircases, balustrades, handrails and associated architectural metalwork, working from technical drawings and supporting all aspects of steel erection on site.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience fitting staircases, balustrades and handrails
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience using hand and power tools for installation work
- Skilled in aligning, fitting and tightening bolted connections
- CSCS Card essential
- Strong site safety awareness
