Fabric Maintenance Engineer, Glasgow, £18-£20 per hour, Temp to perm opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out multi-trade maintenance and repair work, including:
    • Wall and floor tiling (repairs and installations)
    • Plastering (patch repairs, skimming, rendering)
    • Painting and decorating (internal and external)
    • General building and fabric repairs (minor carpentry, patch work, basic structural repairs)
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship across predominantly commercial and retail environments (approx. 95%), with some work in residential settings (5%)
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Represent the company professionally on-site

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (subject to licence check; must be over 25 for insurance purposes)
  • Time-served multi-trade experience
  • Strong skills across tiling, plastering, painting, and general building repairs
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Own tools required
