Fabricator / MIG Welder, Temp to Perm, 40 hours per week + OT paid at x1.5

Responsibilities
- Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm (40 hours per week). As workload increases, overtime may become available on Fridays and Saturdays, paid at 1.5x standard hourly rate.
- MIG welding heavy gauge mild steel and Hardox wear plate
- Fabricating and assembling mixer components and structural steel sections
- Grinding, cutting, fitting, and finishing fabricated steel parts
- Working accurately from detailed engineering drawings
- Ensuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Requirements
- Proven MIG welding experience within a fabrication or heavy engineering environment
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings accurately
- Experience working with heavy gauge steel materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
