Overview

CNC Miller, £35-£40K, Glasgow, Permanent, Monday to Friday, Dayshift, Permanent.

Aspirare are working with a leading engineering company who are expanding and looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology on high-specification components within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture precision components from customer drawings to meet production cycle times
• Ensure a “right first time” approach with a strong focus on quality and efficiency
• Contribute to the development and improvement of production and manufacturing processes
• Communicate effectively across the team and wider departments
• Adhere to all company health & safety and environmental procedures
• Rotational nightshift may be required (Nightshift rate: £25 p/h)

Essential Skills & Experience

• CNC Milling: 4 years (required)
• Experience working with Fanuc controls across various machines including 5-axis, vertical, and horizontal mills
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the business
• Willingness to learn and grow within a high-performance team environment

Desirable Experience

• Familiarity with SPC and lean manufacturing practices
• Confident using basic PC software and production systems
