The Role of the Welder / Fabricator
The Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for producing high-quality stainless-steel fabrications in line with engineering drawings and project specifications.
Responsibilities of the Welder / Fabricator
- TIG welding and fabricating stainless steel frames to specification
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Cutting, shaping and assembling materials accurately
- Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project requirements
- Using workshop machinery and fabrication tools safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements of the Welder / Fabricator
- Time Served Welder / Fabricator
- At least 2 year’s experience as a Welder Fabricator
- Strong TIG welding experience
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and hardworking with good timekeeping
- Understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing or workshop environment
