b Overview /b p In this role you provide technical support for building envelope systems, deliver structural calculations and practical engineering solutions, and help grow customer relationships. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure compliant designs and commercially viable outcomes. The position involves site visits across the UK and close work with internal teams to solve complex envelope challenges. This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role at a global organisation. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Competitive salary /li li Company Car Allowance /li li Annual Bonus – Up to 15% /li li Cycle to Work Scheme /li li Employee Assistance Programme /li li Healthcare cash plan, including eye tests and dental /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide technical support and engineering guidance on composite floors, structural roof decking, and building envelope systems /li li Prepare structural estimations, calculations, and technical proposals in response to enquiries /li li Interpret structural drawings, specifications, and project requirements /li li Carry out manual structural calculations where required /li li Interpret wind loading regulations and design requirements for compliant solutions /li li Liaise with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients throughout projects /li li Support projects from enquiry to completion with technically accurate and commercially viable solutions /li li Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations when needed /li li Identify new project opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships /li li Collaborate with internal engineering and commercial teams /li li Attend client meetings, design reviews, and site visits across the UK /li li Keep up to date with industry standards and developments /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 3-5 years experience in structural engineering, construction engineering, technical support, or similar role /li li Structural or civil engineering background essential /li li Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications /li li Strong understanding of composite floors, structural roof decking, façade systems, or building envelope products /li li Experience carrying out structural calculations and interpreting wind loading requirements /li li Experience using a structural calculation software is highly desirable /li li Excellent technical problem-solving skills with practical solutions /li li Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to customers and stakeholders /li li Commercial awareness to identify project opportunities when engaging with customers /li li Self-motivated with strong organisational and project management skills /li li Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK /li /ul ul li strong communication /li li problem-solving /li li self-motivation /li li structural calculations /li li interpretation of wind loading /li li reading technical drawings /li /ul
