FTC Payroll Administrator – Until December 2025. Location: Leeds Salary: £34,700 Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (working hours negotiable) – Opportunity for hybrid working upon demonstration of competence. Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator with the ability to manage multiple payrolls? My client, a highly successful and sustainable manufacturing business, is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team on a fixed-term contract until December 2025 with a chance of becoming permanent. Key Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries, resolving issues quickly and professionally. Accurately process payroll cycles, including weekly, 4-weekly, and monthly payments, through electronic transfers. Handle manual payroll adjustments and ensure all data input is authorised before processing. Administer employee payroll setups, including new starters and leavers, across time management and payroll systems. Produce and securely distribute key payroll documents such as payslips, P45s, and P60s. Provide administrative support for workplace and company pension schemes. Prepare detailed payroll reports to align with business needs and collaborate with HR on staff updates. Stay informed on legislative changes, including HMRC regulations and auto-enrolment requirements, ensuring ongoing compliance. About You: CIPP qualified (desirable) Proven experience in payroll and benefits administration. Strong knowledge of HMRC regulations and auto-enrolment systems. Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail. Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in IT systems and payroll software (intermediate level). Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering excellent service. What’s in It for You?
