Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable MIG Welder / Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in welding and fabrication, with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of technical drawings. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality production and adherence to engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding to a high standard on a variety of materials, primarily mild steel.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans accurately.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble components in line with specifications.
  • Carry out fabrication tasks including drilling, grinding, and finishing.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and tolerances.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven previous experience in welding and fabrication is essential.
  • Strong MIG welding skills with the ability to produce clean, consistent welds.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings is critical for success in this role.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Knowledge of workshop tools and machinery.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills
