Hours: Mon-Thur 7am-5pm
We're looking for an experienced Welder to join our team. The position requires the successful candidate to be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials. The Welder will be responsible for welding carbon steel and stainless steel as well as assembling components of the end product. We are looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in his or her work.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- MIG & TIG welding (TIG is a must)
- Reading and understanding manufacturing drawings
- Verifying dimensions and product specifications
- Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present
- Ensuring that all the parts are properly fitted and aligned
- Ensuring that all quality standards are met
- Maintaining the production schedule and managing key stakeholders’ expectations
- Reporting and detailing product malfunctions
Health & Safety
- Work to the highest standard of Health & Safety at all times, to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Show health & safety awareness in your working environment; speak to a colleague or your manager to highlight any issues
- Wear correct PPE at all times
- Report accidents and near misses to the management
- Report any required machine/equipment repairs to management
- Ensure you are working in a tidy organised manner at all times
Experience: Min 4 years
QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATES REQUIRED WITH APPLICATION
Weld test required on site at interview
Hours: 7am to 5pm Monday to Thursday (38hr week) - CLOSED FRIDAYS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
