My client is looking for a Hygiene Manager to join and lead a group of 21 hygiene professionals to maintain top-tier hygiene standards and food safety compliance across three shifts. This role is perfect for someone ready to take the next step in their career and is excited about implementing improvements and coaching a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, train, and support a team of hygiene supervisors and operatives.
- Drive and implement changes to improve cleaning efficiency and quality standards.
- Coordinate the site s hygiene strategy, focusing on team development, engagement, and cost control.
- Enhance the health and safety culture and manage hygiene KPIs.
- Oversee daily and deep-clean cycles to maintain standards without disrupting production.
- Conduct audits, verification swabbing, and cleaning validations.
- Represent the hygiene function during customer visits/audits.
Requirements:
- Experience in hygiene management.
- Strong communication and organised.
- Hands-on, can-do attitude with a focus on coaching and setting high standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
- Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP training is a plus (training can be arranged).
