Job: Contracts Secretary – Succession Planning Role Location: Wirral Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Salary : Β£26 -30K depending on experience Monday to Friday Aspion are seeking a skilled and proactive Contracts Secretary/P.A to join a well-established company in the Wirral area. This is a key role within thier administration team and an opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic business supporting high-value engineering and construction contracts across the UK and overseas. The company are looking to bring the successful candidate onboard to allow for a comprehensive handover and a gradual familiarisation with thier systems, procedures, and culture. The role offers scope to grow in responsibility and contribute significantly to the smooth delivery of contracts and the wider success of the business. About the Role Reporting to the PA to the MD and working closely with site and office teams, you will: Provide full secretarial and administrative support to live and upcoming contracts, from mobilisation to demobilisation. Coordinate travel, accommodation, and car hire for UK and overseas project teams. Prepare, proofread and format client-facing documentation including method statements, risk assessments, reports, and correspondence. Manage project documentation, transmittals, and support document control activities. Maintain training records and assist with archiving during quieter project periods. Cover the PA during leave and assist with general administrative duties as required. You will be instrumental in supporting a major new multi-million contract in the next coming months. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a highly organised, detail-focused, and technically proficientindividual who can grow into the role and provide critical support across the business. Ideally, you will have: Essential Skills & Experience: Formal typing qualifications and high-level Word/Excel presentation skills. Excellent written English with strong proofreading skills. Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; MS Project an advantage. Experience managing travel and accommodation bookings (UK & international). Professional email and telephone manner. Ability to multitask, prioritise and work independently with minimal supervision. A proactive, flexible and common-sense approach to problem-solving. Desirable: Experience in construction, engineering or project environments. Document control experience.
