Aspion Search is proud to partner with a highly regarded and long-established leader in fuel logistics, currently seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Tanker Drivers to support their expanding operations.
A respected name in hazardous fuel distribution and logistics; renowned for operational safety, compliance, and customer service. Working with key clients on regional and national routes.
The Role
We are recruiting skilled and safety-focused Class 1 HGV Drivers for fuel tanker operations on a temporary, adhoc, or ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking to work with a professional and reliable operator in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of fuel products to commercial and retail sites
- Operating tankers in line with ADR safety standards
- Completing pre/post-trip checks and ensuring full vehicle compliance
- Accurate completion of paperwork, tachograph use, and fuel delivery logs
- Maintaining communication with the transport team and clients
- Adhering strictly to company and industry guidelines
About You
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:
- Hold a valid UK LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum of 2 years\’ experience driving Class 1 vehicles
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Maximum of 3 penalty points on licence – no drink/drug or dangerous driving offences
Desirable
- ADR licence (minimum Classes 2 and 3)
- Previous fuel tanker experience
- Petroleum Driver Passport (PDP)
Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including days, nights, and weekends
- Live within a 45-minute commute of the site location
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of customer service
- Ability to follow strict safety and operational procedures
