Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to hit revenue and new-business targets
  • Identify and secure new customers across industrial and construction markets
  • Grow existing accounts via relationship management, cross-selling and upselling
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process from enquiry to quotation and handover
  • Conduct customer meetings and site visits to understand technical and commercial needs
  • Promote a broad range of equipment rental, temporary-power and related solutions
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal sales, technical and operational teams
  • Provide ongoing account management to drive retention and repeat revenue
  • Key requirements
  • Experience in field sales, business development, account management or technical sales
  • Track record of generating new business and developing existing accounts
  • Experience selling into construction, utilities, manufacturing, engineering, industrial or related markets
  • Candidates from equipment rental, plant hire, tool hire, powered access, generator hire or similar sectors are particularly relevant
  • Commercially focused, self-motivated and capable of managing a territory independently
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand customers’ operational requirements and coordinate suitable solutions
  • Based in the North West and willing to travel nationally
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Direct experience in temporary power or specialist equipment rental would be advantageous
