A well-established and rapidly growing business within the metals industry is currently seeking an ambitious and driven Sales Executive to join their commercial team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a background in metals, steel, aluminium, manufacturing, or industrial sectors looking to join a successful and expanding company offering strong earning potential and long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and developing relationships with new and existing customers
- Generating new business opportunities across the metals and industrial sectors
- Preparing quotations, negotiating pricing, and securing orders
- Managing customer accounts and ensuring a high level of service
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
- Monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities for growth
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience within a Sales Executive, Internal Sales, Business Development or Account Management role
- Experience within the metals, steel, aluminium, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is highly desirable
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive and target-driven approach
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Package:
- £30,000 - £38,000 basic salary depending on experience
- Uncapped bonus structure
