A well-established and growing manufacturing/engineering business based in Birmingham city centre is currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Estimator to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual with experience interpreting CAD and technical drawings who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate quotations and cost estimates from customer specifications and technical drawings
- Reviewing CAD drawings and liaising with production/design teams regarding project requirements
- Managing customer enquiries and supporting the sales process from quotation through to order stage
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ensuring pricing and lead times are commercially competitive and accurate
- Maintaining accurate records on internal systems
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience within a Sales Estimator, Technical Estimator, Internal Sales or similar role
- Ability to confidently read and interpret CAD/technical drawings is essential
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or a technical environment would be advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
Package:
- £32,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
- Bonus scheme
- Monday-Friday / 8am-5pm
