I’m currently working with a well-established fastener manufacturer based in the West Midlands who is looking to recruit a driven Technical Sales Executive to join their growing team. This is a technically focused, customer-facing role, working with a defined portfolio of end-user accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high level of service while identifying opportunities to grow spend within existing customers.

The Role:

  • Managing a set list of customer accounts
  • Building strong relationships and developing a deep understanding of customer requirements
  • Preparing detailed and accurate quotations
  • Costing jobs independently and reading/understanding technical drawings
  • Responding to technical enquiries promptly and providing an exceptional level of service
  • Identifying opportunities to increase customer spend
  • Outbound cold calling will be expected as part of the role
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity

About You:

  • Background in technical sales within the fastener industry (essential)
  • Previous costing experience beneficial but not essential (training can be provided)
  • Proven sales ability with a strong commercial mindset
  • Comfortable working in a busy, technical environment
  • Strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player

Package & Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to £42,000
  • Quarterly Bonus
  • Working hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm / Friday: 8:30am – 2:30pm
  • Company pension scheme
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
