Steel Sales Executive
Location: Manchester
Salary: £Negotiable DOE
Our client, a UK leading privately-owned steel stockholder and processor based near Manchester, are currently seeking an experienced Sales Executive/BDM to join their team.
As a Steel Sales Executive, you will drive sales and establish a solid customer base through a mixture of telephone and face to face sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the your customer base across the UK.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, utilising your expertise in the steel industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities, adapting strategies as needed to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development within the steel industry, with a focus on strip mill and reversing mill plate products preferred.
- Experience in steel sales is essential.
- Ability to establish and grow a customer base from scratch.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
Benefits:
- Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00
- Uncapped commission structure
