We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established engineering and fabrication company based in Smethwick, for an experienced Flame Cutter to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Operating oxy-fuel flame cutting equipment on heavy gauge steel materials.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Measuring, marking, and preparing materials for cutting.
- Producing accurate cuts to required dimensions and tolerances.
- Supporting fabrication and welding departments with prepared materials.
- Conducting routine equipment checks and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures relating to hot work activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Flame Cutter.
- Proven experience working with heavy gauge steel.
