Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and monitor the quality of ferrous scrap materials.
- Ensure all products meet agreed specifications and internal standards.
- Conduct regular sampling and testing of materials.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and reports.
- Identify and report quality issues or non-conformances.
- Support continuous improvement and the development of quality procedures.
- Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in quality control or inspection essential.
- Previous experience working in the scrap metal industry highly advantageous.
- Understanding of ferrous scrap grades and relevant specifications preferred but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks across multiple locations.
