We're working with a dynamic and forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Stoke-on-Trent, who are looking to add a Production Planner Analyst to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that champions development, collaboration, and operational excellence.

The Role:

As the Production Planner Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting production scheduling, data analysis, and supply chain coordination. You’ll help ensure efficient manufacturing processes by turning data into insights and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and scheduling production activities to meet demand
  • Analyse data to identify trends, delays, or inefficiencies
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and production schedules
  • Use planning software/tools to manage timelines and forecasts
  • Support continuous improvement projects through data-led decision making

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant subject (Analytical, Technical, or Business-related)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Confident with data analysis and Excel (experience with ERP systems is a bonus)
  • Organised and methodical approach to work
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Experience in a similar role is welcome but not essential
