The Role
The Validation Engineer will be responsible for delivering cleanroom validation and ventilation testing services across hospital, pharmaceutical and controlled environments.
Responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out HEPA filter integrity and DOP testing
- Assessing and verifying air supply and extract airflow volumes
- Calculating and confirming air change rates within controlled environments
- Measuring airflow velocities within isolators and laminar airflow cabinets
- Recording and verifying room pressure differentials
- Conducting airborne particle count testing
- Undertaking airborne microbiological monitoring
- Completing surface contamination sampling in line with validation standards
- Working in accordance with BS EN ISO 14644, BS EN 12469:2000, EU cGMP and HTM-03
Requirements of the Validation Engineer
- Over 3 years’ experience in cleanroom validation or ventilation testing in a field-based role
- Strong knowledge of supply and extract ventilation systems
- Experience working in hospital and cleanroom environments
- A solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required
