The Role

The Validation Engineer will be responsible for delivering cleanroom validation and ventilation testing services across hospital, pharmaceutical and controlled environments.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out HEPA filter integrity and DOP testing
  • Assessing and verifying air supply and extract airflow volumes
  • Calculating and confirming air change rates within controlled environments
  • Measuring airflow velocities within isolators and laminar airflow cabinets
  • Recording and verifying room pressure differentials
  • Conducting airborne particle count testing
  • Undertaking airborne microbiological monitoring
  • Completing surface contamination sampling in line with validation standards
  • Working in accordance with BS EN ISO 14644, BS EN 12469:2000, EU cGMP and HTM-03

Requirements of the Validation Engineer

  • Over 3 years’ experience in cleanroom validation or ventilation testing in a field-based role
  • Strong knowledge of supply and extract ventilation systems
  • Experience working in hospital and cleanroom environments
  • A solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required
