The Role of the Project Manager
As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end projects, acting as the key point of contact for customers and internal teams. You’ll work closely with engineering, commissioning, and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on time, and with clear communication throughout.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager
- Manage projects from commissioning through to installation and handover
- Own customer communication and ensure a consistently strong customer experience
- Use Gantt charts and project management software to plan, track, and report progress
- Introduce improvements to project processes, reporting, and workflows
- Proactively manage risks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to modernise project delivery
Requirements of the Project Manager
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager within an engineering, manufacturing, or installation environment
- Strong planning capability (including Gantt charts and PM tools)
- Experience using MS Project
- A customer-focused mindset with confident stakeholder management
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and comfortable driving improvement
