The Industrial Refrigeration Engineer will be joining a well‑established industrial refrigeration specialist with decades of experience in the market. The business is known for its technical depth, long‑serving engineering team, and a culture where engineers are properly supported on site.
As an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer, you’ll be working on heavy industrial ammonia‑based refrigeration systems, primarily within food and FMCG production environments. The role covers service, maintenance, breakdowns and installation work, supported by in‑house fabrication and coded welding teams. Engineers are paid door to door, operate within a structured standby rota, and benefit from consistent overtime availability. Travel to customer sites across the UK is required.
Requirements:
- Strong background in industrial / heavy commercial refrigeration
- Confident working with ammonia‑based refrigeration systems
- Ammonia training and certification
- Experience within food production or FMCG environments
- Strong service, maintenance and fault‑finding capability
- Full UK driving licence
