My client, a leading manufacturer known for its high-quality products and commitment to excellence, is looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Night Engineer to join their engineering team and help maintain and improve their production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults (80% mechanical, 20% electrical).
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Work on a range of equipment, including packaging machinery (vertical bagging experience desirable).
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure good housekeeping.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
- Assist with training and mentoring apprentices as needed.
About You:
- Time-served engineer or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a packaging environment (vertical bagging experience desirable).
- Familiarity with Revima equipment (desirable but not essential).
- Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
