Location: Barrow Upon Humber
Salary: £43,500 per year + Tonnage bonus
Hours: 45 hours per week – 6am-4pm or 6am-2pm, alternative weekends when required, plus overtime paid (hours over 180/month) and half rate after 180 hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance on plant, machinery, and equipment
- Work on bulk handling systems, conveyors, dust collectors, panels, SCADA, and PLCs
- Attend unplanned breakdowns and repairs promptly to maintain reliability targets
- Complete job cards, record maintenance activity, and report delays or parts/material shortages
- Operate safely using LOTO procedures and Peel Safe System of Work
- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver efficient and reliable plant operation
- Participate in daily briefings and ensure compliance with all site safety and operational rules
- Maintain tools and equipment at 100% operational readiness
About You:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification, including 18th Edition
- Hands-on maintenance experience in industrial plant environments
- Experience with conveyors, bulk handling systems, dust collectors, SCADA, PLCs, and panels
- Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Committed to safety, reliability, and high-quality workmanship
