Our client is a well-established and growing business supplying technical products into a diverse range of industries across the UK.
Due to continued success, they are investing in their commercial team and are looking to appoint an Internal Sales / Account Manager who wants to grow with the business.
Previous B2B Sales experience is welcomed but certainly not essential but If you've sold engineering, manufacturing, industrial or other technical products within a B2B environment, your experience is highly transferable.

The Role
Working closely with both new and existing customers, you'll become a key member of the commercial team, managing customer relationships, preparing quotations, securing orders and identifying opportunities to maximise revenue and profitability.
This role offers the perfect balance between account management and proactive sales, allowing you to develop long-term customer partnerships whilst continuing to grow your commercial success.
You’ll be someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, negotiating commercially and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of customer accounts.
- Build long-term relationships with customers across a variety of engineering and manufacturing sectors.
- Prepare quotations and proactively follow up opportunities.
- Process customer orders and coordinate with internal departments.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
- Work closely with External Sales, Purchasing and Warehouse teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process.
- Contribute towards achieving team sales targets and continued business growth.
- What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within Internal Sales, Account Management, Technical Sales or Sales Support.
- A proven track record of building customer relationships and developing accounts.
- Experience selling into engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical markets would be advantageous, although not essential.
- Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Organised, proactive and customer-focused.
- Experience using CRM or ERP systems.
- Ambitious, driven and eager to continue developing your career.
