We are currently looking for an experienced Mould Shop Machinist to a large Manufacturer in the Leeds Area. This is a permanent, day-shift role working Monday to Friday.
The Role
Reporting to the Mould Shop Manager, you will be responsible for machining and maintaining mould equipment and associated parts to ensure they are production-ready and meet required specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine and maintain mould equipment and ancillary parts (5kgβ45kg)
- Operate a manual lathe to produce components to specification
- Follow work instructions, technical drawings, and revised documentation
- Accurately record maintenance and machining information
- Adhere to all health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and quality workmanship
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
