My client, a rapidly growing international logistics and trade solutions provider, is seeking a dynamic International E-Commerce Growth Manager to help bridge the gap between Chinese manufacturers and the UK market. With deep roots in China and a strong UK presence, my client is on a mission to evolve beyond traditional logistics by providing comprehensive support to clients, guiding them through every stage of the supply chain, regulatory compliance, and market strategies. The Role – What You’ll Be Doing
- As an International E-Commerce Growth Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting Chinese manufacturers with consumers and buyers in the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Introducing products (mainly consumer electronics) into UK offline channels.
- Building and executing brand strategies, including PR and digital marketing, to localise the products for the UK market.
- Collaborating with British media, KOLs, and participating in key events like exhibitions and fan meetings.
- Advising clients on market trends, regulatory compliance, and supply chain strategy.
- Launching and managing the e-commerce presence via platforms such as Amazon, eBay, niche websites, and independent DTC sites.
- Guiding the creation of localised web content and overseeing the setup of independent websites.
- Acting as a brand and operations consultant for Chinese clients expanding into the UK.
About You – What We’re Looking For
- To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Essential: 3-5 years of experience in the UK market, ideally within the consumer electronics, retail, or e-commerce sectors.
- Strong background in both online and offline sales channels.
- A solid understanding of UK retail systems, user behaviour, and local brand marketing.
- Fluent English (Mandarin is a plus but not required).
- Excellent project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Awareness of digital marketing, including SEO, paid search, Google Ads, and social media strategy.
- Desirable: Experience in supply chain re-design or e-commerce logistics.
- Hands-on involvement in independent website builds or DTC launch campaigns.
