Are you an experienced and reliable Class 2 (Category C) Driver looking for your next opportunity? We\’re currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK\’s leading steel stockholders , seeking skilled drivers to join their busy distribution operation based in Stoke-on-Trent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely delivering steel products to an average of 15-22 drops per day across the region
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and meet customer requirements
- Conducting daily vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
- Accurately completing all required paperwork and delivery documentation
- Adhering to all road safety, driving, and company regulations
Requirements:
- Full UK Class 2 (Cat C) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous multi-drop driving experience (steel delivery experience advantageous)
- Good geographical knowledge of Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas
- Physically fit and able to handle manual loading/unloading of steel products
- Strong communication skills and professional customer service approach
- Flexible and reliable with start times (core hours: 7am – 4pm )
