Are you an experienced BDM with a background working in the Metal Stockholding Industry? Do you have strong product knowledge selling a wide range of Stainless Steel and Aluminum products? Enjoy selling into the world of Manufacturing & Engineering? The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a well-established and highly reputable metal stockholding business, supplying materials into key sectors including engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, and much more! You’ll be joining a business that is known for its quality, service, and strong customer relationships, with a clear focus on growth and developing its people.

The Role

This is an internal Business Development role, focused on generating new business while managing and developing existing accounts. You will be:

  • Proactively winning new business through outbound calls and relationship building
  • Managing your own pipeline and driving sales opportunities through to close
  • Building strong relationships with customers across engineering and manufacturing sectors
  • Producing quotes, following up, and negotiating to secure orders
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in sales / business development
  • Confident making outbound calls and building relationships over the phone
  • A strong commercial mindset with a real drive to win and earn
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload
  • Experience working within Metals is key

Package

  • Salary negotiable – depending on Industry experience
  • MONTHLY bonuses
  • Monday – Thursday 08:30am – 4:00pm / Early finish Friday 3pm
  • 23 day holiday + bank holidays
  • Regular reviews
  • Progression pathway
