We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plater / Welder to join a well-established fabrication environment. This is a hands-on role working with heavy plate and structural fabrication, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and precision welding. The ideal candidate will have experience working within heavy fabrication, and ideally exposure to pressure vessels or similar high-spec, regulated environments. We are also open to considering more junior Plater/Welders who have solid heavy plate experience and are looking to develop their skills further within a supportive, training-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication and welding of heavy plate components
  • Working from technical drawings and fabrication specifications
  • MIG/MAG welding (TIG experience beneficial but not essential)
  • Assembly and preparation of steel structures
  • Working on pressure-related or heavy-duty fabrication projects
  • Ensuring high standards of quality and finish
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations
