- Attending initial site surveys/scope of works meetings at tender stage
- Advising on procurement strategy
- Preparing and analysing costing for tenders
- Tender adjudication and procurement of subcontractors
- Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks
- Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
- Commercial management of subcontractors
- Prepare and present project cost reports
- Valuing completed work as terms agreed and arranging invoicing with the accounts dept
- Identify and track additional costs and variations not included in the original estimate for onward approval and charge to the customer
- Preparing detailed cost progress reports
- Negotiation of final accounts
Requirements:
- Strong fit out experience across ceilings, floorings, wall finishes, mechanical, electrical.
- Quantity Surveying or Estimator or Commercial management Degree
- Working in a similar role as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within Quantity Surveying/Estimating.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated and Ambitious
- Professional manner, experience being client facing
