My client, who are in the fast-paced exhibition and display interiors industry, are looking to expand the CAD Department and bring on board a 3D CAD Designer.
Duties:
- Complete 3D visuals and 2D drawings that suit the client's requirements.
- Keep track of workload and ensure deadlines are met.
- Have excellent command of Trimble Sketch-Up to create and develop realistic visuals to send to clients.
- Generate presentations in PowerPoint to show renders and CAD plans that meet projects' briefs.
- Support project managers throughout the design and project delivery process with changes, updates, etc.
- Liaise with other company departments to ensure designs are manufacturable.
- Be capable of working within budget constraints.
- Have 2-3 years previous experience in the relevant sector, preferably designing bespoke exhibition stands and interiors using Trimble Sketch-Up.
- Have a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Friendly, personable, and able to work well in a team.
