We are seeking a driven and dynamic Regional Management Accountant to join our Finance Department on a full-time basis. We need a proactive accountant who thrives in an environment that requires adaptability and ownership. You will be instrumental in delivering accurate, timely management accounts and providing essential financial and analytical support to our Operations team, ensuring the financial integrity of our associated companies.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and critically review monthly Profit & Loss accounts, providing detailed commentary on material variances to the Commercial Controller.
  • Operational Support: Produce detailed monthly analytics for top/bottom performing units, including comparative analysis against prior periods, to drive performance insights for the Operations team.
  • Balance Sheet Integrity: Take full ownership of the balance sheet reconciliation process for all associated companies, including the maintenance of control accounts (assets, prepayments, accruals, and discounts).
  • System & Data Management: Oversee the accurate reconciliation and posting of monthly journals. Manage the seamless transfer of data between operating systems and upload data onto the SAP financial system.
  • Compliance & Audit: Assist with the annual audit process and oversee the monthly Review and Approve process, supporting Operations with compliant invoice sign-off.
  • Strategic Planning: Support the Commercial Controller in the development and execution of a robust budget and forecasting process.
  • Training & Query Resolution: Provide financial training to new managers, offer refresher courses to existing staff, and ensure timely resolution of finance queries via email and telephone.

Experience & Drive: Minimum 3 years' practical experience in management accounts and actively studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, etc.).

Analytical Prowess: Advanced Excel skills are integral. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Adaptability: Adapt easily to a dynamic, diversifying environment and be ready to take full ownership of your workload.

Communication & Collaboration: Great communicator who collaborates seamlessly across teams, working well both independently and in the hive.

Technical Knowledge: Experience in reconciling multiple systems and the capacity to deal with different business models.

Delivery Focused: Effective time management skills and a proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
