Location: Office Littlehampton, with support packages in Littlehampton, Bognor Regis, Chichester, and other areas across West Sussex.
Hours of Work: Part‑time (16–20 hours per week), including some weekend and sleep‑in shifts. Optional sleep‑in shifts available at £62 per night.
Salary: £12.21 per hour. Mileage paid at 45p per mile; travel time paid. Drivers with business insurance required; some shifts are based in Bognor only.

About the Role
At Aspens, we support individuals with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. We are seeking support workers to deliver outreach support to adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities, including 24/7 support to two residents in Bognor. Work includes day, afternoon, evening and sleep‑in shifts, with a morning shift until 9/10 am.
Shift Patterns
- Weekdays: 9 am–4 pm.
- Evenings: 2:45 pm–6 pm (till 10 pm for sleep‑in).
- Sleep‑in: 10 pm–7 am (including 6–10 pm and 7–9/10 am waking shifts).
- Weekends: 9:30 am–4:30 pm (sleep‑ins optional). Shorter sessions on some weekends.
About You
Enthusiastic, compassionate, caring and friendly with a positive attitude toward supporting people with Autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues. Previous experience not required; willingness to learn and engage with training is essential. Good communication skills, including listening and the ability to use various communication methods. Support users in activities of choice, encouraging independence and skill development. Perform domestic duties such as preparing healthy meals. Provide personal care sensitively and deliver emotional and behavioural support when needed. Flexible availability to cover early, late, weekend and sleep‑in shifts to meet service users’ needs.
