Our client within the South Tyneside are looking for a long term Administrator to join their team.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support across the organisation, with a particular focus on data entry, record management, and minute taking during meetings.
Key ResponsibilitiesMay include but not limited to being able to:
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain data within company systems and databases.
- Prepare, organise, and maintain electronic and paper records.
- Attend meetings, take clear and concise minutes, and distribute meeting notes promptly.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence from the general public and within the business.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and diary arrangements.
- Prepare reports, documents, and presentations as required.
- Support team members with general administrative tasks.
- Ensure all records are maintained in accordance with company policies and data protection requirements.
- Monitor and order office supplies when needed.
- Assist with filing, scanning, and document management.
- Manage holiday entitlement, booking colleagues' holidays.
Essential:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Previous experience of dealing with incoming queries from the public
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience taking and producing professional meeting minutes.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
