We are looking for multiple reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Waste & Recycling Operatives (Bin Loaders).
This is a physically demanding role that plays a vital part in keeping our communities clean, safe, and environmentally sustainable.
Working as part of a collection crew, you will assist with the safe and efficient collection of household waste, recycling, and garden waste across the borough.
You'll be working outdoors in all weather conditions and will contribute to delivering an essential frontline service to our residents.

- Pattern: Tuesday to Friday | 7am to 5pm Key Responsibilities
Collect household waste, recycling, and other designated materials safely and efficiently.
Load bins, bags, and containers onto collection vehicles.
Return emptied bins to the correct location, ensuring they are left safely.
Work closely with drivers and fellow crew members to complete collection rounds.
Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices.
Report hazards, contaminated waste, damaged bins, or issues encountered during collections.
Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with members of the public.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who: Is physically fit and able to undertake manual, repetitive work.
Can work effectively as part of a team.
Is reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality public services.
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
