Our client is looking for a Fleet Hire Desk Assistant in the DH7 Region. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating vehicle bookings, supporting drivers and departments, and ensuring the efficient allocation and utilisation of fleet vehicles.
Main Duties:
- Manage vehicle bookings, allocations, and returns using fleet management systems.
- Act as the first point of contact for fleet enquiries from staff and departments.
- Record vehicles on DCC insurers Motor Insurance database, ensuring vehicles are recorded on/off the insurance in accordance with DCC policy and the 4th European Motor Insurance Directive.
- Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs with suppliers and workshops.
Main Responsibilities / Requirements:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic IT skills, including experience with databases and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role (fleet or transport experience desirable).
Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday (8am - 4pm)
