Our client is looking for a Plasterer - Band 6 (Housing) in the NE24 Region.
MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENCE
The main duties of this role are to carry out high-quality plastering repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment work to council or housing association properties, including occupied homes, void properties, and communal areas. The role ensures properties are maintained to a safe, habitable, and lettable standard in line with housing regulations and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Skimming
- Rendering
- Patch Plastering
- Dry lining
- Screeding
- Artex covering/removal (where permitted)
- Repair walls and ceilings following plumbing, electrical, or structural works.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
- Proven experience in domestic plastering repairs and maintenance.
- Experience working in social housing or similar environment.
- Asbestos awareness training / experience dealing with Asbestos.
Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday (8am - 4pm)
Dress Code: High Viz Jacket, Safety Shoes
