Our client is looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver in the SR4 Region. As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you are responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods. The role involves carrying out daily vehicle checks, ensuring loads are secure, completing deliveries and collections, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle in a safe and legal manner
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries and/or collections as scheduled
- Load and unload goods manually or using mechanical handling equipment
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements
- Loading / Unloading pallets (Manual Handling)
Key Skills:
- Safe and confident driving of rigid HGV vehicles
- Good knowledge of road transport regulations
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (7.30am - 4.30pm)
