The Role
The objective of the position is to provide hands on support to field sales, regional sales management and operations to better manage and execute the software license business, adopt best practices in driving growth in a consistent manner, and help execute high-quality deals.
- Your Impact
- Ensure that commercial transactions align with corporate and regional strategies.
- Ensure alignment with other Commercial Office Managers (Regional Business Operations).
- Review regional financial performance and actively support the Field Sales team to manage and grow the license business to meet bookings and growth targets.
- Drive best practices within the Region to ensure high quality, accurate definition of proposed commercial transactions via Salesforce and a completed SSE Advanced Pricing Calculation (SSE APC) and/or the Deal Generator (DG).
- Provide timely, accurate approvals for commercial transactions, ensuring adherence to existing governance.
- Provide feedback and testing for the SSE APC and DG, as required.
- Provide commercial transaction advice and governance, including the early identification and escalation of potential issues related to commercial transaction governance.
- Maintain an understanding of all deals in the pipeline including compelling reasons to close.
- Provide training to sales team on the creation and use of the SSE APC and DG.
- Provide feedback to Commercial Office Team on issues related to the SSE APC and DG, as well as the overall approval process and governance policies.
- What You\'ll Need
- 3+ years of experience in deal desk, deal structuring or sales.
- Must be a self-starter with strong critical thinking skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills to enable informed decision making.
- High proficiency user of Excel.
- Experience working with Salesforce (SFDC) a plus.
- Must be proficient in conversational and written English.
- Adept at business partnering and working with cross functional teams, building meaningful business relationships along the way.
- Flexible to work extended hours during peak periods and multiple time zones.
- Detail oriented team player with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in related field highly desirable.
