The Role
The Director, Area Sales is responsible for meeting revenue goals within assigned accounts within Europe.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced enterprise software sales leader with a proven track record of successfully leading a high-growth sales organization. The Company seeks an individual who brings both experience in a relevant sales environment and who possesses the intellectual capability, leadership skills, organizational and process abilities to drive exceptional performance. Given the focus on revenue and growth, the successful candidate will have a combination of sales leadership, a penchant for managing “by the numbers” and the ability to lead a team. That experience will have been gained at one of the recognized leaders in enterprise applications or systems technology firms. This individual must have experience leading to the transformation of a sales organization and a strong track record selling enterprise solutions at the senior executive level. The ideal candidate will know how to build value for the Company and its customers and have proven experience in doing so over the short, medium and long term. The candidate\’s knowledge and experience working with companies in the energy sector, whether upstream or downstream, and in the chemical market would be a plus.
